DTC P0463: Inspection

FUEL_GAUGE+, FUEL_GAUGE- Open Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Fuel tank unit connector (4P): disconnected
  • Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) Fuel tank unit connector (4P) female terminals	(Disconnected) Gauge control module connector A (32P) female terminals

	FUEL_GAUGE+ open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
	FUEL_GAUGE- open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Gauge Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining gauge control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the gauge control module.
