DTC P011B: Inspection

Connector Visual Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Check the connectors for a secure connection or for loose terminals at the following components:

    * MAF sensor/IAT sensor

    * ECT sensor 1

    * ECT sensor 2

• Normal Conditions
  • Conditions at the connections and terminals are OK.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the connections or terminals.

MAF Sensor/IAT Sensor Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • MAF sensor/IAT sensor: removed and cooled to the ambient temperature

• Procedure
  • Note the ambient temperature.
  • Connect the MAF sensor/IAT sensor connector (4P), but do not install MAF sensor/IAT sensor.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [IAT Sensor (1)].

• Normal Conditions
  • HDS [IAT Sensor (1)] is almost the same as the ambient temperature.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with MAF sensor/IAT sensor.
