DTC P011A: Inspection

Connector Visual Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Check the connectors for a secure connection or for loose terminals at the following components:

    * ECT sensor 1

    * ECT sensor 2

    * MAF sensor/IAT sensor

• Normal Conditions
  • Conditions at the connections and terminals are OK.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the connections or terminals.

ECT sensor 1 Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • ECT sensor 1: removed and cooled to the ambient temperature

• Procedure
  • Note the ambient temperature.
  • Connect the ECT sensor 1 connector (2P), but do not install ECT sensor 1.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [ECT Sensor 1].

• Normal Conditions
  • HDS [ECT Sensor 1] is almost the same as the ambient temperature.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with ECT sensor 1.
