DTC P0128: Inspection

Radiator Fan Functional Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Select the HDS [RADIATOR FAN].

• Normal Conditions
  • The stop and running of the radiator fan is functioning normally.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with ECT sensor 1.

ECT sensor 1 Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • ECT sensor 1: removed and cooled to the ambient temperature

• Procedure
  • Note the ambient temperature.
  • Connect the ECT sensor 1 connector (2P), but do not install ECT sensor 1.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [ECT Sensor 1].

• Normal Conditions
  • HDS [ECT Sensor 1] is almost the same as the ambient temperature.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with ECT sensor 1.
