DTC P0108: Inspection

MAP Sensor Inspection 

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure 

Unit output voltage inspection

• Preparation
  • MAP sensor connector (3P): disconnected

• Procedure
  • Jump the MAP sensor connector (3P) terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with a jumper wire.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [MAP Sensor Voltage].

	(Disconnected) MAP sensor connector (3P) female terminals

• Normal Conditions
  • HDS [MAP Sensor Voltage] value is less than 3.16 V  .

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the MAP sensor.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.

PB, SG1 Open Wire Inspection 

NOTICE:  

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • MAP sensor connector (3P): disconnected
  • PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) MAP sensor connector (3P) female terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector E (114P) female terminals

	PB open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
	SG1 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
