Confirmation Procedure

Perform the following procedures in order. If the failure is duplicated, the confirmation procedure is completed.

• Procedure 1
• • Start the engine.
  • Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
  • Do the HDS [DI Fuel Pressure Test].
  • If the HDS [DI Fuel Pressure Test] result is not OK, the failure is duplicated.

• Procedure 2
  • Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes in the same range of the recorded on-board snapshot parameters shown below:

    * Engine Speed

    * Vehicle Speed

    * MAP Sensor (Hi Res)

    * TP Sensor

    * APP Sensor

    * ECT Sensor 1

    * IAT Sensor (1)

    * Fuel Pressure Converted From PF Sensor

    * Fuel Pressure Direct Injection System
