1. PCV Valve - Visual Inspect

   Procedure/Specifications 

   • Check the PCV valve (a), the PCV hose (b), the breather tube (c), and their connections for leaks or restrictions.
     NOTE:

     If necessary, remove them and check.

   Specifications 

   Position	Specification
   a	No leaks and restrictions
   b
   c

   Result 

   • If it is abnormal, repair or replace parts as needed.
2. PCV Valve - Idle Inspect

   Preconditions 

   • "PCV Valve - Visual Inspect" is completed and has tested normal.

   Procedure/Specifications 

   1. Start the engine.

   2. At idle, make sure there is a clicking sound from the PCV valve (a) when the hose (b) between the cylinder head cover and the intake manifold is lightly pinched with your fingers or pliers.

   Specifications 

   Condition	Specification
   At Idling Speed	Clicking sound from the PCV valve

   Result 

   • If it is abnormal, check the O-rings of the PCV valve for cracks or damage. If they are OK, replace the PCV valve and recheck.
