DTC: 2703

DTC 2703 : Aircon Diag

NOTE:

Check the vehicle 12 volt battery condition first - Refer to:
12 Volt Battery Test (Without Auto Idle Stop System) or

12 Volt Battery Test (Touring) .
This audio DTC sets when Connection NG is indicated in the Aircon diagnosis (the A/C icon is red in the System Links).
Check for B-CAN DTCs and resolve them before troubleshooting.
Before You Troubleshoot, Make Sure To Follow The General Troubleshooting Information .

Problem verification
-1. Clear the hard error codes.

- 2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode then the ON mode.

- 3. Check for hard error codes.

Is DTC 2703 indicated?

YES

The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.

NO

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

Open wire check (B-CAN_H, B-CAN_L lines)

-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

- 2. Disconnect the following connectors.

Audio unit connector B (20P)

Climate control unit connector A (32P)

- 3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
	Climate control unit connector A (32P): disconnected
	Audio unit connector B (20P): disconnected

Test point 2	Climate control unit connector A (32P) No. 24 - Refer to: Climate Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2019 2020 2021) or Climate Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2016 2017 2018) .

Test circuit 2
Test point 1	Audio unit connector B (20P) No. 13 - Refer to: Audio Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (Color Audio Type [5-inch Screen]) (2016 2017) or Audio Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (Color Audio Type [5-inch Screen]) (2018) or Audio Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (Display Audio Type [8-inch Screen]) (2016 2017 2018) or Audio Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2019 2020 2021) .

Test point 2

Climate control unit connector A (32P) No. 23 - Refer to:
Climate Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2019 2020 2021) or
Climate Control Unit Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2016 2017 2018) .

Is there continuity?

YES

Replace The Climate Control Unit .

Repair an open in the wire(s) between the audio unit and the climate control unit.
