Yaw Rate-Acceleration Sensor

Yaw Rate Sensor (included in the VSA modulator-control unit)

The yaw rate sensor calculates the yaw rate of the vehicle based on the capacitance changes in the internal sensor element. Based on the Coriolis force, the sensor element increases/decreases in capacitance between the electrodes depending the vehicle movement.

Acceleration Sensor (included in the VSA modulator-control unit)

The acceleration sensor is a 2-axis detection type (longitudinal and lateral) and calculates the acceleration rate in each direction (axis). The internal sensor element increases/decreases in capacitance between the electrodes depending on vehicle movement.
