Removal & Installation: Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations - Refer to: SRS Component Location Index (2016) or SRS Component Location Index (2017 2018 2019 2020 2021) , and the Precautions & Procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Steering Angle Sensor - Install

   1. Position the two tabs (A) of the steering angle sensor (B) as shown. Install the steering angle sensor to the cable reel (C). NOTE:  When reinstalling used components, make sure to keep the positions of the rotating parts as they were originally kept.

3. Column Cover - Install - Refer to:Column Cover - Install
4. Steering Wheel - Install - Refer to: Steering Wheel Removal and Installation (2016 2017 2018) or Steering Wheel Removal and Installation (2019)
5. VSA Sensor Neutral Position - Memorize - Refer to:VSA Sensor Neutral Position - Memorize
6. Steering Angle Sensor Neutral Position - Clear - Refer to:Steering Angle Sensor Neutral Position - Clear
