DTC U0402-68 (Multipurpose Camera Unit)

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or How to Troubleshoot the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) or How to Troubleshoot the Road Departure Mitigation or How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) or How to Troubleshoot the Auto High-Beam (High-Beam Support System) .

A/T system DTCs check

-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

-2. Check for A/T system DTCs with the HDS.

DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC	Freeze Frame

Are any DTCs indicated?

YES

Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .

NO

Go to step 2.

Problem verification
-1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

-2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

-3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 5 seconds.

-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC U0402-68 indicated?

YES

Check for loose terminals and poor connections in the multipurpose camera unit 20P connector. If they are OK, replace the multipurpose camera unit .

NO

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or How to Troubleshoot the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) or How to Troubleshoot the Road Departure Mitigation or How to Troubleshoot the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) or How to Troubleshoot the Auto High-Beam (High-Beam Support System) . If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the Freeze data/on-board snapshot.
