DTC P15C5  : Brake Booster Pressure Sensor A Characteristic Low Voltage

NOTE: 

• Troubleshoot any PGM-FI system DTCs first .
• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (EVPS)

1. PGM-FI system DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs in the PGM-FI system with the HDS.

   DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC

   Are any DTCs indicated?

   YES 

   Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .

   NO 

   Go to step 2.

2. Brake booster pressure sensor check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Substitute a known-good brake booster .

   -3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -4. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   P15C5 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor A Characteristic Low Voltage

   Is DTC P15C5 indicated?

   YES 

   Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good PCM , then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM .

   NO 

   Replace the original brake booster .
