Charging System Symptom Troubleshooting Index

NOTE: If no DTCs are indicated when confirming them with the HDS , the alternator is normal because of multistage control one.

Symptom  Diagnostic procedure  Also check for 
Charging system indicator stays on Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function procedure .  
Over-run alternator decoupler (OAD) pulley is making an abnormal noise Check for a broken over-run alternator decoupler (OAD) pulley.
