Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF DW-1):Always use Honda ATF DW-1.Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality. |
| Brake system (including VSA lines) |
Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid: Always use Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid. Using a non-Honda brake fluid can cause corrosion and decrease the life of the system |
| Cooling system (Engine coolant/ES coolant/DT coolant) |
Use Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2, and add Honda Extreme Cold Weather Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2. NOTE:
If the vehicle is regularly driven in very low temperatures (below -22 deg.F (-30 deg.C)), a 60 % concentration of coolant should be used.
