Parts Marking

To deter vehicle theft, certain major components may have labels marked with the vehicle identification number (VIN). Replacement body parts have generic labels that do not have the VIN. These labels should not be removed. The original motor/gear box VIN plates are not transferable to other motor/gear boxes.

NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the parts' marking labels during body repair. Mask the labels before repairing the part.
