Engine Oil Pan: Installation: Procedure

Detailed information, notes, and precautions
Torque: N.m (kgf.m, lbf.ft)
Replace
  1. Baffle Plate - Install (If necessary)
  2. Oil Pan - Install

    1. Apply liquid gasket

    , to the engine block mating surface of the oil pan, and to the inside edge of the threaded bolt holes.

    2. Tighten the oil pan mounting bolts in three steps. In the final step, torque all bolts, in sequence, to the specified torque. Wipe off the excess liquid gasket on the each side of crankshaft pulley and flywheel.
  3. Flywheel cover - Install
  4. Lower Transmission Assembly Mounting Bolt - Install
  5. Torque Rod and Torque Rod Bracket - Install
  6. Connector (CKP Sensor) - Connect 
  7. Intermediate Shaft mount bolt - Install
  8. Electric A/C Compressor - Install
  9. Right Brace Bar - Install
  10. Motor Undercover - Install
  11. Right Front Wheel - Install
  12. Engine Oil - Refill
