DTC C0063-27 : Yaw Rate Sensor Gain Error
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- This vehicle's multipurpose camera unit receives the failure information of the yaw rate sensor from the SRS unit. The SRS unit does not uses the yaw rate sensor for airbag deployment control, so the SRS system indicator does not come on even if the yaw rate sensor is faulty. If this DTC is stored, clear the DTC and then perform problem verification according to the troubleshooting flow. If this DTC is stored again, replace the SRS unit.
- If DTC U0151-00 is stored at the same time as DTC C0063-27, troubleshoot DTC U0151-00 first, then recheck for DTC C0063-27.

DTC (IDAS)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-4. Test-drive the vehicle at 12 mph (20 km/h) or more.
NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.-5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

The failure is duplicated. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or replace the SRS unit .
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
