Idle Stop Time Is Short (2019 2020 2021)

Diagnostic procedure

• Brake booster leaks:

  Check the leakage from the following parts, and replace it if necessary .

  NOTE:

  • Time that the idling stop operates shortens because it becomes impossible to maintain airtight of the negative pressure line when a small leakage is in the following parts.
  • The following symptoms appear when there is a leakage in following parts. (Small leakage: Idle stop time is short) (Large leakage: Idle stop does not operate)
• • Check valve (built into the vacuum line)
  • Vacuum hose, pipe
  • Vacuum tube (between the brake booster and the brake booster pressure sensor)
  • Brake booster
  • Rod seal or O-ring, or secondary cup of master cylinder
  • Brake booster pressure sensor
• If equipped, Check the cold storage evaporator installation .
• Troubleshoot the auto idle stop system - Refer to: Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Auto idle stop system indicator (amber) blinks  or Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Auto idle stop system does not operate (2022 2023)  or Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Auto idle stop system indicator (green/amber) does not come on  or Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Starter System Counter Inspection (2022 2023)  or Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Auto idle stop system does not operate .
