Removal and Installation: Procedure

Torque: N.m (kgf.m, lbf.ft)
Replace
  1. Cowl Cover - Remove
  2. Motor Undercover - Remove

    NOTE:  Remove the necessary part(s).

  3. Cam Chain - Remove 
  4. Crankshaft Sprocket - Remove 
  5. PCU - Remove
  6. Universal Lifting Eyelet - Install

    		 1. Install the universal lifting eyelet with a commercially available spacer (A).
  7. Engine Support Hanger - Install

    		 1. Install the engine support hanger onto the vehicle as shown, and attach the hook to the slotted hole in the universal lifting eyelet (A). Tighten the wing nut (B) by hand, and lift and support the engine/transmission.
    • NOTE:  Be careful when working around the windshield.
    • Be careful not to damage the hood opener cable when installing the engine support hanger at the front bulkhead.
  8. Oil Pan - Remove 
  9. Oil Strainer - Remove
  10. Oil Pump - Remove
  11. All Removed Parts - Install
    1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
