Set the cord along the center-line of the vehicle.

NOTE: When installing a cord along the center-line of the vehicle, install the cord using the front and rear jack-up brackets, the towing hook, the emblem, and the scribe lines of the frame part as reference points.
      • When installing an aiming target on the rear of the vehicle, use the centering stand in the rear.
      • When installing an aiming target on the front of the vehicle, use the centering stand in the front.
    3. Place the centering stand of the alignment set under the rear or front jack-up bracket, then mark the spot at the center-line of the centering stand.
    4. Position the gas strut holder between the rear or front jack-up bracket and the mark on the floor.
    5. Place the centering stand of the alignment set under the rear or front jack-up bracket, and run the cord through it.
    6. Attach the cord to the collar of the alignment set, placing the collar of the alignment set about 2.0 m (6.6 ft) in front of the vehicle or behind the vehicle.
NOTE: Make sure the cord is tight and not laying on the ground, then align the cord in the center of the alignment set.
