Operating Condition
Stuck at low temperature
- Start the engine with the engine coolant temperature [ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE] at 95 °F (35 °C) or less.
- Warm up the engine until the engine coolant temperature [ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE] reaches 158 °F (70 °C) or more.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 19 mph (30 km/h) or more with the throttle position at 4 ° or more for at least 5 minutes.
- Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
Stuck at high temperature
- Turn off the engine with the engine coolant temperature [ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE] at 158 °F (70 °C) or more.
- Start the engine after the engine coolant temperature [ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE] drops to 95 °F (35 °C) or less.
- Warm up the engine until the engine coolant temperature [ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE] reaches 158 °F (70 °C), and wait for at least 20 seconds.
