Intake Manifold (2019 2020 2021): Installation

NOTE: 

• How to read the torque Specifications .
• Refer to the Exploded View if needed during this procedure.

1. Intake Manifold Base - Install

   1. Install the intake manifold base. Tighten the bolts/nuts in three steps; tighten the bolts/nuts until the bolts/nuts sit on the intake manifold base, tighten the bolts/nuts until the gasket is compressed, tighten the bolts/nuts to specified torque.   NOTE:  Always use new gaskets.

2. Intake Manifold - Install

   1. Install the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts/nuts in three steps; tighten the bolts/nuts until the bolts/nuts sit on the intake manifold, tighten the bolts/nuts until the gasket is compressed, tighten the bolts/nuts to specified torque.   NOTE:  Always use new gaskets.

3. EGR Pipe B - Install 
4. Brake Booster Vacuum Hose and PCV Hose - Connect

   1. Connect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) and the PCV hose (B). 2. Install the hose clamps (C).

5. Throttle Body and Intake Air Duct - Install 

   NOTE:  Always use a new throttle body gasket.

6. EVAP Canister Purge Hose and Connector (EVAP Canister Purge Valve) - Connect 
7. Air Cleaner - Install
