| Automatic transmission (6-Speed A/T) | Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF DW-1): Always use Honda ATF DW-1. Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality. |
| Automatic transmission (9-Speed A/T) | Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF Type 3): Always use Honda ATF Type 3. NOTE: Using the wrong type ATF can affect shift quality. |
| Transfer assembly (AWD models) | Always use Honda HGO-1. |
| Rear differential (AWD models) | Honda DPSF-II. |
| Brake system (including VSA lines) | Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid: Always use Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid. Using a non-Honda brake fluid can cause corrosion and decrease the life of the system. |
| Cooling system | Always use Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2. NOTE: For prolonged cold temperatures below -22 °F (-30 °C), add Honda Extreme Cold Weather Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 (concentrate) - Refer to: Coolant Replacement (2016 2017 2018) or Coolant Replacement (2019 2020 2021) . |
