Navigation display does not open or opens part way

Press the Open/Close button.
Does a beep sound?

YES -Check the navigation display unit for foreign objects. If there are none, substitute a known-good navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and recheck. If the problem is repaired, replace the original navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

NO -Remove the navigation display unit and check for loose connections to the display. If the connections are OK, substitute a known-good navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and recheck. If the problem is repaired, replace the navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
