Climate Control Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the audio unit (see AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) or audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Remove the self-tapping screws, bolts, and the brackets (A).

  3. Remove the self-tapping screws and separate the audio unit or audio-navigation unit and the climate control unit (B).
  4. Install the control unit in the reverse order of removal. After installation, operate the various functions to see whether it works properly.
  5. Run the self-diagnostic function to confirm that there are no problems in the system (see HOW TO USE THE CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION WITHOUT THE HDS  ).
