Instrument Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program, 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  1. Tilt the steering column down.
  2. Remove these items:
  3. Remove the instrument panel (A).
    1. Release the side hook (B).
    2. Gently pull the panel backward, and remove the clips (C, D).

  4. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
    • If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
    • Upon installation, position the side hook first, then attach the clips.
    • Push the clips and the hook into place securely.
