DTC 104-12: Yaw Rate-Acceleration Sensor Power Source Malfunction

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION  ).
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
  4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    Is DTC 104-12 indicated? 

    YES  -If DTC 61-11 or 62-11 is indicated, check the battery (see BATTERY TEST ), and troubleshoot the alternator regulator circuit (see ALTERNATOR AND REGULATOR CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING ). If DTC 61-11 or 62-11 is not indicated, replace the yaw rate-acceleration sensor (see YAW RATE-ACCELERATION SENSOR REPLACEMENT  ).

    NO  -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to INTERMITTENT FAILURES TROUBLESHOOTING  .
