LUBRICANTS AND FLUIDS DESCRIPTION CHART

Application Lubricant or Fluid
Engine Honda Motor Oil: 0W-20
Look for the API certification seal on the oil container.
Make sure it says "For Gasoline Engines."
SAE viscosity: See chart.
Automatic transmission Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF DW-1):
Always use Honda ATF DW-1.
Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality.
Brake system (including VSA lines) Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid:
Always use Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid.
Using a non-Honda brake fluid can cause corrosion and decrease the life of the system.
Power steering system Honda Power Steering Fluid:
Always use Honda Power Steering Fluid. Using any other type of power steering fluid or automatic transmission fluid can cause increased wear and poor steering in cold weather.
Cooling system Always use Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2
