Motor Test
- Remove the rear power window switch See REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or FRONT PASSENGER'S POWER WINDOW SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Test the motor in each direction by connecting battery power and ground to the rear power window switch 8P connector according to the table.
- If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, go to step 4 .
- REMOVE THE DOOR PANEL .
- Disconnect the 2P connector from the rear power window motor.
- Check for continuity between the rear power window switch 8P connector terminals and rear power window motor 2P connector terminals as shown. There should be continuity.

Right rear power window switch 8P connector Right rear power window motor 2P connector 1 (WHT) 1 (WHT) 3 (BLU) 2 (BLU) - If there is no continuity, repair an open or high resistance in the wire(s). If the wire harness is OK, faulty rear power window motor; replace the rear door regulator. See Rear Door Regulator Removal and Installation
