Keyless/Power Door Locks/Security System Description - Components

Door Lock Switches 

The driver's door lock switch is integrated into one unit to the power window master switch. The front passenger's door lock switch is integrated into one unit to the front passenger's power window switch.

Door Lock Knob Switches/Door Lock Actuators/Driver's Door Key Cylinder Switch 

The door lock knob switch and the door lock actuator are built into the door latch of each door. The door lock knob switch detects the lock and unlocks states of the lock mechanism. The door lock actuator moves the lock mechanism back and forth between the lock and unlock position. The actuator receives lock and unlock commands from the MICU. The driver's door key cylinder switch is included in the driver's door latch assembly. In conjunction with the key cylinder, it detects the lock/unlock of the key cylinder.

Trunk Lid Release Actuator/Trunk Lid Latch Switch 

The MICU receives an ON signal from the trunk lid outer handle, and then the MICU sends a signal to the trunk lid release actuator. When trunk lid actuator receives a signal from the MICU, the trunk lid release actuator unlocks the trunk latch. The trunk lid latch switch is the ON/OFF switch that detects the opening/closing of the trunk. If the trunk lid release actuator is faulty, the trunk lid can be opened manually with the lock lever.

Security Hood Switch 

The security hood switch is included in the hood latch. In link with the hood latch, it detects the opening/closing of the hood.

Door Switches 

The door switch is the ON/OFF switch that detects the opening/closing of the door.
