Power Mirror Function Test

NOTE:  The right power mirror is controlled by the front passenger's power window switch. When the power mirror switch is operated, the power window master switch receives the signals from the power mirror switch and sends the signals to the front passenger's power window switch. If there is malfunction of the right power mirror actuator operation, do the power window master switch input test - Refer to: Power Mirrors (Power Window Master Switch) Input Test (2014),  or Power Mirrors (Power Window Master Switch) Input Test (2015 2017)  and Front Passenger's Power Window Switch Input Test . Also, the power mirror defoggers is controlled by power window master switch and front passenger's power window switch, do the power window master switch input test - Refer to: Power Mirrors (Power Window Master Switch) Input Test (2014),  or Power Mirrors (Power Window Master Switch) Input Test (2015 2017)  and Front Passenger's Power Window Switch Input Test .

1. Remove The Power Mirror Switch And Disconnect 13P Connector From It .

2. Choose the appropriate test based on the symptom:

Both Mirrors 

3. Measure the voltage between terminal No. 4 and body ground with vehicle ON mode. There should be battery voltage.

4. Check for continuity between terminal No. 13 and body ground. There should be continuity.

Left Mirror 

5. Connect terminals No. 4 and No. 9, and terminals No. 1 (or No. 7) and No. 13 with jumper wires, and vehicle ON mode.

The left mirror should tilt down (or swing left).
