Tailgate Outer Handle Switch Removal, Installation, and Test: Test

NOTE: The tailgate outer handle switch is built into the license plate light.

Without Keyless Access Function

1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, faulty the tailgate outer handle switch; replace the license plate light (A).

With Keyless Access Function
