B-CAN Network
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2011 Honda Odyssey. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
B-CAN information travels across the communication lines at a slower speed for convenience-related operations that do not require a high processing speed. The following control units and components operate on the B-CAN network:
- Audio Display-USB Adapter Control Unit (USB Adapter without Navigation)
- Audio Unit (without Navigation)
- Audio-Navigation Unit (Navigation)
- BSI Control Unit (BSI System)
- Climate Control Unit (Climate Control)
- Driver's MICU in the Driver's Under-dash Fuse/Relay Box
- Gauge Control Module
- Headlight Leveling Control Unit (HID)
- HVAC Control Unit (Manual A/C)
- Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit
- Left Power Sliding Door Control Unit (Power Sliding Doors)
- Navigation Display Unit (Navigation)
- Optional Connector (Remote Starting System) (USA, Canada)
- Parking and Back-up Sensor Control Unit (Parking and Back-up Sensor System)
- Power Seat Control Unit (DPMS)
- Power Tailgate Control Unit (Power Tailgate)
- Power Window Master Switch (Door Multiplex Control Unit)
- Rear MICU in the Rear Fuse Box
- Relay Control Module (Control Circuit Board) in the Under-hood Fuse/Relay Box
- Right Power Sliding Door Control Unit (Power Sliding Doors)
- Seat Heater Control Unit (Seat Heaters)
For safety reasons, the headlight and wiper/washer circuits of the B-CAN network have a backup circuit in the event of a network wire or control unit failure that would affect the system's operations.
