DTC P0A78 (32): Motor Power Inverter (MPI) Module Internal Circuit Malfunction: General Description

The motor power inverter (MPI) module transmits failure information to the motor control module (MCM) via serial communication when a nonvolatile memory failure, an internal temperature sensor failure, or insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) gate over voltage occurs. When the MCM receives failure information for a specified duration, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.
