Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Reset - Procedure 20

NOTE: The engine oil life and maintenance item(s) can be independently reset with an appropriate scan tool. Follow procedure below.

Connect the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) to the data link connector (DLC).
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle and the powertrain control module (PCM). If it doesn't communicate, troubleshoot the DLC circuit.
Select GAUGES in BODY ELECTRICAL with the HDS.
Select ADJUSTMENT in GAUGES.
Select MAINTENANCE INFORMATION in ADJUSTMENT.
Select MAINTENANCE MINDER in MAINTENANCE INFORMATION.
Select the individual maintenance item you wish to reset.
