Thermostat Replacement
- Drain the engine coolant (see COOLANT CHECK ).
- Remove the thermostat cover (A), then remove the thermostat (B).
- Install the new thermostat with a new rubber seal (C), then install the thermostat cover.NOTE: Install the thermostat with the pin (D) up.
- Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system (see step 8 on ).
- Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
