Countershaft Bearing Replacement

Special Tools Required 

  1. Remove the countershaft bearing using the adjustable bearing puller (20-40 mm) and a commercially available 3/8 "-16 slide hammer (A).

  2. Install the ATF guide plate (A).

  3. Install the new countershaft bearing (B) in the housing using the driver handle and the attachment (62 x 68 mm); install the bearing outer race surface in height (C) of 0-0.03 mm (0-0.001 in) above the housing surface (D). Do not install the bearing exceeding 0.03 mm (0.001 in) high from housing surface.
