Blower Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the passenger's dashboard undercover (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) and the glove box (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Cut the plastic cross brace (A) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown, and discard it.

  3. Disconnect these connectors (A) from the blower motor and the recirculation control motor. Remove the wire harness clips (B).

  4. Remove the self-tapping screws and the duct (A).

  5. Remove the self-tapping screws, the mounting nuts, and the blower unit (A).

  6. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leakage.
