Oil Pump Overhaul: Installation
- Clean the O-ring groove and the mating surface of the engine block.
- Install the oil pump (A) with a new O-ring (B).

- Install the oil screen (C) with a new gasket (D).
- Install the oil pan (see
CKP PULSE PLATE REPLACEMENT
).
- Support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the oil pan.
- Remove the engine support hanger and the support eyelet from the cylinder block.

- Install the auto-tensioner (see

- Install the cam chain (see

).
- Remove the jack and the wood block from under the oil pan.
- Install the cowl cover and the under-cowl panel see (COWL COVER REPLACEMENT
).
- Refill the engine with engine oil (see 6
