Air Cleaner Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the MAF sensor/IAT sensor connector (A), and remove the harness clips.
    NOTE: Be careful not to damage the MAF sensor/IAT sensor on the air cleaner cover.

  2. Remove the breather hose (B).
  3. Loosen the hose bands (C) and remove the bolts, then remove the air cleaner (D) from the throttle body and the intake air tube.
  4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE: When tightening the screw (E) of the hose band, align the edge of the hose band (F) with the mark (G) painted on the hose band. If you tighten the screw over the mark, replace the hose band.
