Shift Lever Knob Replacement

NOTE: Do not wipe off the grease that is applied to the portion of the shift lever marked with an asterisk (*) when you disassemble or assemble it because a special grease is used.
  1. Wrap the end of a thin blade screwdriver with tape, pry the shift lever knob cover (A), and remove it.

  2. Remove the screws (B) and the shift lever knob (C), then replace the shift lever knob.
  3. Install new screws to secure the shift lever knob to the shift lever (D).
  4. Install the shift lever knob cover by pushing the shift lever knob cover onto the shift lever knob securely.
