Front Passenger's Weight Sensor Replacement: Installation

NOTE:

Be sure to install the harness wires so they are not pinched or interfering with other parts.
The front passenger's weight sensor is part of the seat rail and must be replaced as an assembly.

Install the removed parts to the new front passenger's seat rail/front passenger's weight sensors as an assembly (see FRONT SEAT RAIL REPLACEMENT - PASSENGER'S SEAT ).
Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION ).
Clear any DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS ).
Do the front passenger's weight sensor initialization (see FRONT PASSENGER'S WEIGHT SENSOR INITIALIZATION ).
Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
