CESS Articulated Harness Replacement

  1. Remove the sliding door sill trim (see SLIDING DOOR OPENING ).
  2. Remove sliding door panel (see SLIDING DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Disconnect the 6P [and 21P] connectors (A) from the CESS articulated harness (B).

    NOTE: The illustration shows with power sliding door.

  4. Remove the bolt and the two screws, then remove the CESS articulated harness.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
