Tire Pressure Sensor: Notes

CAUTION: Fluid sealant used to repair a punctured tire can damage the tire pressure sensor mounted on each wheel. It can prevent the system from detecting the correct tire pressure and set a DTC even though the system is normal.
NOTE: For CR models. If tire sealant has been used to repair a flat tire, perform the tire sealant removal procedure, then proceed to the tire pressure sensor removal. See appropriate manufacturer service information for tire sealant removal.
