Section 17 (Charging System (1GR-FE)): Generator: Installation

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)
2. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
3. Connect the wire harness.
  1. Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut.
    Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7.0 ft.*lbf)
  2. Connect the connector to the generator assembly.
  3. Install the wire harness stay with the bolt.
    Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
INSTALL FAN SHROUD (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL LH
INSTALL V-BANK COVER (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE TERMINAL
Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
