Oil Pan Removal

  1. M/T model: Remove the heat shield (see step 8 on DRIVESHAFT REMOVAL ).
  2. Remove the dipstick tube.

  3. Remove the clutch cover/torque converter cover (A), and remove the bolts (B) securing the transmission.

    M/T model

    A/T model

  4. Remove the bolts/nuts securing the oil pan.
  5. Set the flat blade screwdriver as shown, and separate the oil pan from the engine block.

  6. Remove the oil pan.
