J35Z1 Engine

  1. Set a hexagon socket wrench in to the drive belt auto-tensioner (A), and slowly turn the wrench in the direction shown in Fig 1, then remove the drive belt.
    NOTE: This is a hydraulic type auto-tensioner, so you must turn the wrench slowly.

  2. Install the new belt in the reverse order of removal.
