Malfunction Threshold

A malfunction is detected if these three conditions are not present after the engine and the ignition switch have been off for at least 6 hours before restarting the engine.

• The temperature (IAT minus ECT1) is not 50°F (28°C) or less.
• The temperature (IAT minus ECT2) is not 32°F (18°C) or less.
• The temperature (ECT2 minus ECT1) is not 32°F (18°C) or less.
