DTC B1957: MICU-Rear Junction Box Lost Communication with Combination Switch Control Unit (Headlight Switch Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for 6 seconds or more.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1957 indicated?
YES - Go to step 5.
NO - Intermittent failure, the communication line is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1007, B1062, B1155, and B1555 also indicated?
YES - Go to the combination switch control unit input test (see COMBINATION SWITCH CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST ).
NO - Go to the MICU-rear junction box input test (see MICU - REAR JUNCTION BOX INPUT TEST ).
