Section 34 (Starting System (2TR-FE)): Starter: Installation

INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY
1. Install the starter with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)

2. Connect the starter connector.
3. Install the starter wire harness with the nut.
  Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
4. Install the terminal cap.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
